Regular Design Tibetan Tiger Rug

The same sacred symbolism as our smaller tiger rugs, scaled up to anchor an entire room.

This regular design Tibetan tiger rug brings the powerful energy of the Himalayan tiger into your living space at full scale. In Buddhist and Hindu tradition, the tiger represents spiritual strength, protection, and the courage to face inner obstacles. The bold stripe pattern, woven knot by knot has graced monastery floors for centuries and continues to be one of the most collected traditional Tibetan rug designs worldwide.

How It's Made

Hand-knotted in Kathmandu by skilled artisans using generations-old Tibetan weaving techniques. Larger sizes require months of dedicated work from multiple weavers. At 100 knots per square inch, the tiger stripes maintain their bold definition even at room-filling scale.

Materials

100% fine New Zealand wool on a cotton foundation. Naturally durable, colorfast, and safe for homes with children and pets. Hand-finished fringed edges.

A Note on Handmade

Because every knot is tied by hand, no two rugs are identical. Expect subtle variations in color saturation and texture, these are the natural marks of a handwoven Tibetan carpet made by a real person, not a machine.
