Scandinavian Style Rugs for Living Room
Your living room already has enough going on. This rug calms it down.
Scandinavian design became a global movement for a reason: it proves that restraint is a form of luxury. This handwoven Scandinavian style rug brings that philosophy to your living room floor - clean lines, muted tones, and a deliberate absence of excess. No ornamental borders, no competing motifs. Just a well-composed pattern in natural wool that lets your furniture, your art, and your space breathe.
What separates this from the mass-produced Nordic rugs flooding the market is how it's made. Each one is hand-knotted by skilled artisans in Nepal, the same weavers who craft intricate Tibetan carpets using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a minimalist rug with depth, warmth, and the kind of tonal subtlety that only handmade wool can produce.
How It's Made
Hand-knotted in Nepal using traditional techniques. Available in 100 knots density. The muted, neutral palette requires careful dye work to achieve the understated tonal range that defines Scandinavian style. Production takes 10 to 14 weeks.
Materials
100% fine New Zealand wool on a cotton foundation. The wool's natural abrash subtle, unplanned color variation from skein to skein gives the surface a lived-in warmth that machine-made rugs can't replicate. Safe for children and pets.
Available Sizes
4×6 ft · 5×8 ft · 6×9 ft · 8×10 ft · 9×12 ft · 10×13 ft · 10×14 ft Custom sizes available.

A Note on Handmade
Because every knot is tied by hand, no two rugs are identical. Expect subtle variations in color saturation and texture, these are the natural marks of a handwoven carpet made by a real person, not a machine.
